CS:GO improved FPS drops in Trusted mode

Valve has released a small patch for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which eliminates performance issues when playing in Trusted mode. According to the official description, the drop in frame rate was caused by some third-party applications.

– CS:GO will now display an error if launched from outside of Steam.
– Fixed a case where players in Trusted mode would experience a framerate issue caused by certain 3rd party apps.

Trusted Mode was set for all players by default on the night of July 9. Users who encounter difficulties launching CS:GO may temporarily return to client version 1.37.5.9 in the game's properties or set the option -untrusted, but this will reduce the level of trust.

At the end of June, Valve introduced a new method to fight cheaters in CS:GO. The client now blocks the operation of software whose DLLs have not received a special digital signature. Players can use the -insecure option to run third-party software without any problems, but in this case they will not be able to join VAC servers.
