FURIA signed honda as sixth player

FURIA Academy player Lucas "honda" Cano has joined the main team as the sixth member of the squad. The Brazilian organization announced this on social media.

FURIA only invited Cano to its academy last month, six months after he began his eSports career with DETONA Pound. The 20-year-old Brazilian is the fourth player in the team's history to be transferred from the youth squad - previously professional contracts were signed with trainees Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato, Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo and Rinaldo "ableJ" Moda Junior.

Honda will make his debut in the main FURIA lineup on January 19 as part of the BLAST Premier Global Final 2020. He will replace American Patyn "junior" Johnson, who is forced to miss the upcoming tournament because he will not be able to reunite with teammates at the boot camp in Serbia due to visa problems.
